Technical Help from LEMFÖRDER

The LEMFÖRDER ranges of Drive Belts and Timing Belts have proved a huge success throughout Europe.

Covering both passenger cars and light commercial vehicles, the programmes cover over 40 different vehicle manufacturers, including Audi, Renault, Volkswagon, Seat and Ford. Over 720 part numbers are featured, with Drive Belts numbering over 370 part numbers and Timing Belts a further 350.

Product Manager, Nick Symons, explains, “The LEMFÖRDER belt programme provides comprehensive car par coverage and, as with all LEMFÖRDER products, the belts are manufactured to original specifications providing a higher degree of reliability, maximizing engine performance and ensuring trouble free motoring”.

Both ranges are supported with catalogues, which allow customersto identify the parts they require quickly and accurately. The catalogues include detailed cross-reference listings for both original equipment and competitor part numbers. The Drive Belt Catalogue, which can be downloaded from the ZF Trading UK website, includes full numerical listing by belt dimension while the Timing Belt Catalogue features full numerical listings with the number of teeth and belt width. Additionally, competent specialists are on hand through the technical helpline, to answer any installation problems.“

The programme is supported by a range of POS material targeted at helping our installers. This includes a practical and informative Belt Troubleshooting Guide with pictures for easier identification of potential problems. The guide offers possible causes for timing belt failure and details the corrective action that should be taken”, concluded Symons.
